Wow the blinds make such a difference in each room-- i got rid of all the white ones and now have basically fake wood-- but they are awesome and change the atmosphere to one that is so much warmer!!!

The floors are incredible-- i cant recommend LAMINATE US more. The installers were amazing and did one fanstastic job. I couldnt be more pleased.
Now i am moving everything back into the rooms which is a major job but i am so happy with the way everything looks that i dont care how much work i have to do!!!

Well my daughter in law graduated from college--YAHOO-- i am so PROUD of her- she has been working on this for a long time-- trying to work, raise a family, and go to school is no easy task!!!

She stuck with it and yesterday we had a wonderful graduation party for her!! i bought all the decorations and we managed to get her out of the house so we could suprise her with all the decorations- she wasnt expecting that!!

My friend Sally fixed all the food-- and oh what a spread it was...
little smokies, wasabi dip with veggies, chicken enchiladas, rice and bean salad, grape and olive tray, plus wonderful desserts-- chocolate chip cookies with heath bars - they were a HUGE hit, individual cheese cakes topped with strawberries and blueberries then drizzled with chocolate!! YUM...and last but not least peanut butter and chocolate cookies-- we were all STUFFED!!

i made jello shots-- my daugther in law loves strawberries so i got strawberry and kiwi jello and put in coconut rum then dropped a strawberry jelly bean in the bottom ... peach jello with regular rum- and finally blueberry jello with hypnotic-- ahhh wonderful--
the weather turned out to be just great -- we were all thankful the rain clouds blew away and the sun came out!!
a fantastic day that is for sure....but i was dead tired by 930pm and had to call it quits and come home-- i fell into bed immediately and slept until 9 this morning.
i was draggin today and havent gotten much done at all...

the new flooring was also delivered yesterday - so wednesday it will be laid!
the Blind man called and wanted to install the blinds on monday so they will be done before the floor goes in-- wow exciting!!!!!


the house is totally trashed as i have had to move everything out of the family room, my office, the second bedroom and the huge hall closet... it is all stacked in the living room and my bedroom -- i still have to get more in my office packed up but want to wait till the last minute so i can keep my computer up and running...

during all the commotion with the boxes of flooring being brought in -- i thought my cat Majick had gotten out...

i called and called and looked everywhere for him but he was no where in site.... i had to leave to decorate but hated to go with out him being inside... but my neighbor said she would keep an eye for him so off i went just knowing that when i returned he would be right here at the house.

i was gone several hours and hurried home to find that Majick wasnt around and my neighbor hadnt seen him-- by now i was frantic and scared-- he always comes home when it is hot outside--

again i called and looked but couldnt find him--

i searched every knook and cranny in the house and he was no where to be found--

by now i was near hysterical-- and decided to look in my bathroom closet even though i knew he wasnt in there--

i called and called and then turned around and out he popped from my laundry hamper!!!! if i hadnt been so happy to see him i probably would have killed him!!

i named him appropritately when i decided on Majick!!

Well i finally decided to get a new cell phone and i guess its about time since my old one didnt work IN my house!! i had to either lay down on my driveway or sit down by the lake to get it to work and then the reception wasnt great!! besides it was over two years old and not an expensive one to start with so....

Cingular had a wonderful deal online for a SONY ERICISSON W600i.. with the rebates i got it for about $40.00!!!!!

i have to admit i dont use my cell alot but maybe now that i have a new fancy one i will use it more!!

i really love this new phone--it has a camera,video, walkman, radio,voice activated calling, and has bluetooth conectivity!! gosh almost like having a computer!!!

i just got it so i am learning how to use it and it is such a major step up from my old one that i can see it will take me awhile to get it all figured out.

i have gotten the sims card from my old phone tranferred over to the new one so all my contacts are in place now and i bought a case and a blue tooth headset today...now all i have to do is figure out how to use it!! i got the radio to work and i am pleased with it.

i cant wait to download music to the walkman- that will really be cool!!!
